1. Parting surface: the contact surface between the plastic mold and the convex mold when the mold is closed. The selection of its position and form is affected by factors such as product shape and appearance, wall thickness, forming method, post-treatment process, mold type and structure, demolding method and forming machine structure.

The design of structural parts is very critical, which is related to product life, processing cycle, cost, product quality and so on. Therefore, the design of complex mold core structure requires the comprehensive ability of designers, and try our best to pursue a simpler, more durable, more economical design solutions.

3. Mold precision: i.e. avoiding card, positioning, guide pillar, positioning pin, etc.. The positioning system is related to the appearance quality of the product, mold quality and mold life. According to the different structure of the mold, choose different positioning methods. The control of positioning accuracy mainly depends on the processing. The positioning of the inner mold is mainly considered by the designer to design a more reasonable and easy-to-adjust positioning method.

4. Gating system: that is, the feeding channel of the injection molding machine from the nozzle to the cavity, including the main sprue, branch sprue, gate and cold cavity. In particular, the location of the gate should be conducive to the choice of a good flow state with molten plastic to fill the cavity, and in the open mold (except hot runner molds), attached to the product on the solid runner and gate cold material can be easily ejected from the mold and removed.

5. Plastic shrinkage and factors affecting the dimensional accuracy of the product: such as plastic mold manufacturing and assembly errors, mold wear and tear. In addition, when designing compression molds and injection molds, the matching of molding machine process parameters and structural parameters should also be considered.
