DR-24H cap compression molding machine is applicable for cap production from thermoforming plastics (PP,PE,etc..),its rotating design ensures continuous cap production and no injection time, so yield greatly increased.
The machine adopts continuous compression molding hydraulic press for plastic cap manufacturing via the extrusion of dry-blend granulated compounds (i.e.HDPE, PP), metering,pelleting and insertion in the cavities to mould it into the final shape.The capacity of the machine depends heavily on compound properties and the geometry of the manufactured caps.

With continuous compression molding process, hydraulic rotary cap compression machine is especially suitable for thermoplastic molding products. The plasticized material, quantitatively sheared and put into the mold cavity, runs in a continuous cycle. The hydraulic system is installed close to the mold, which makes it easy to adjust pressure when machine is running in cycle. The extruder is to plasticize the material and keep it in a molten state, which means the material is melted, mixed, and prepared for the next padding process. The energy to plasticize the material comes primarily from the mechanical friction of the screw-material system, rather than from the heating unit in the barrel.

 

The hydraulic rotary presses CCM are specially designed to produce thermoplastic products by means of compression.
A continuous work-cycle is carried out during which plastic material is fed from a plasticization unit, cut into suitably gauged pellets and then inserted inside the cavities.
An hydraulic system is in charge to close the moulds at a pressure that can be regulated while the production cycle is being performed.
The task of the extruder is to plasticize the compound,that means melting, mixing and preparing correctly the melt for the lining process.
The largest part of the energy required to plasticize the compound derives from the friction mechanical work of the screw-barrel-material system not from the heating elements on the barrel.
